Hydroelectric power is produced by converting the kinetic energy of water into electricity. To harness this power, large hydroelectric infrastructures are built to extract the maximum power from this local resource without polluting sources.

BENEFITS

The technologies of hydroelectric projects are the oldest of all, so the conclusions drawn from their operation are among the safest:

  • They have a high degree of efficiency in converting hydrodynamic energy into electricity 
  • They have a very long lifespan compared to other RES projects
  • They have very low operation-maintenance costs

In Greek territory, our company currently has 4.53 MW licensed for the production of hydroelectric power.
